He wants to sell me his YZF750 for $500.

Main frame is straight, forks are straight (one seal is leaking), wheels are good, brakes are good. Engine has low miles. Tank is good, but has one dent in it. He's got extra bits and it got a new battery this spring. It has an Ohlins rear shock too.

He tried to crank it over after he got it home, it spins over but won't start. I didn't hear the fuel pump. He hasn't looked into it much, he just wants to get rid of it. He's wanting to build up a CB chopper project. Should I grab it?

well that shock is probally worth close to $500
so id say yes man,at the very least part it out on ebay and make some money

I remember him saying to me that the bike was kinda slow though, didnt run well. but I guess 500 is a good price....Josh that guy wanted 1500 for that VFR...it was a late 90s with missin plastic, basicly he took the body work off to get it painted, then split from his wife and lost the parts in the mess.

hrmmm...well I'll call you today if I go to look at this bike Joe. I'm supposed to help a friend look at an Interceptor 500 for her first bike, it needs fork seals, so I really wanna investigate. The came claims to know lots, but he sounds like a 'know it all' to me...
