new one 90 gixxer project

i have this project going on in iceland (not so good writing this language)

i bougth this bike a year ago and have been modding it since i bougth it

started out like this

then i started tearing it apart

and ended up like this after first round

and here i am trying to solve some elctric issues

and then i bougth dominator headligth and test fitted them

and decided to cut up the old ligth and change it to a flyscreen for the dominator

then it came time to park the bike for winter and i decided to do a tail swap i got my hands
on a complete tail of yamaha FZ1 2007 since its much harder manageing parts here in iceland then it is in the states
here it is done taking the tail apart

then its time to cut it up

then up to the lift taking the engine out

there it is ready for trying on the new tail

here i have it down to my shop

and trying it on

after awful lot of thinking thi was the placing on the tail

another angle

another one

now it is time for fixing up the harness to fit the new tail

and this is how it is now waiting for me to do some work on it

i would apreciate all of your comments about waht you think and what i should do

Best regards Trausti

Looking great that tail flows really good with lines of the bike. Nice choice on tail. I'm sure some people on here would be interested to see how you did the subframe

Welcome to Custom Fighters. Great work so far. I'm looking forward to seeing it finished. I'm building a 92 Slingshot for the 2014 Winter Buildoff here on the forum. You should check it out.

the subframe was easy job i use original subframe from the FZ1 and welded 4 aluminum tabs to my bike so i could bolt the tail to my bike

will take pictures and show you guys next time i go work on my bike
