Its called Yard Fest and we have a blast anytime we get a chance.. BBQ, stunt'n bikes, fiddy's, quads, anything we can get our hands on. My boy Jarrad that hosts the party has a wheelie machine and a shit load of land with a fiddy track. Its a blast.

So I decided to bring my bike and do a little burnout, Im still waitin for the picture of the huge ass smoke cloud but I got some of the aftermath.. and a fiew random others..

The back tire runs on a steel roller that is made of 1/2" thick steel plate and is filled with shot peened steel balls and weigh's in at around 700 lbs. That roller is hooked to a hydrolic pump that creates pressuse as it spins. Between the pressure and the weight of the roller it creates a resistance (moving ground underneeth you).

There is a heavy duty chain that run's from the roller to a shaft with a HUGE disc brake with a caliper set up the same way as a truck with a foot pedal as a manual brake from the side of the machine. When the bike comes down from a wheelie at god know what speed, that roller wants to keep on going. Thats where the footbrake comes in. Theres a strap tied to the front tire so the bike doesnt go past 12 o'clock, and a 42" industial fan in front to help with cooling along with the hard wired fan on the bike itself.

The bike is also gear'd 1 down 10 up... So if you cant wheelie this thing something is wrong with you lol

i dont really shun them...i just wouldnt use one. (mainly because you dont need one for doing just sit down and stand up wheelies )

there's a guy in my area with one of them thur "wheelie machines", i've yet to try it out.

if you're on stuntlife, no doubt you've heard about the drama that guy has caused ("bishop"), so i haven't even pushed the issue.

looks like fun though, those pics make me wish i had a yard big enough to ride in.

lol, look in the general stunt forum, there's a looong thread about the "stunt reality show". he's the guy that took out a full page ad in super streetbike asking for footage (and money??), trying to put together a reality tv show based on stunting. alot of people were crying b/s. i'm just staying out of the whole thing. SUPPOSEDLY kyle woods is gonna be in town this weekend to discuss the show and whatnot. i got an invite to the whole thing, so i guess we'll see if it's for real or not.

that's EXACTLY what everyone else said.

i know the guy, i rebuild all his bikes after he blows em up on the wheelie machine. he doesn't exactly have the best reputation around here. BUT, he pays well, that's why i tried to stay out of it.
