I would say here is a list of features a streetfighter should have:
- streetfighter should be naked
- streetfighter should have widened wheels
- streetfighter should have aggressive design
- streetfighter should be based on a sport bike
- tail part of a streetfighter seat should be shorter than rear wheel (extended swingarm or shortened saddle or both)
- streetfighter should have side bar mirrors or no mirrors
- no any windscreen

You're being ironic, right? PLEASE...tell me you're joking. You forgot to add that it HAS TO have brass knuckles on it somewhere along with the words "Built Not Bought" somewhere on it.

Insomnia again so this may or may make sense but I've been thinking about this topic and although I've been riding for over 20 years and been riding "street fighters" since 2007 I've never been fond of the term street fighter, and I think it's because I was trying to narrow it to a specific style of bike and I think I was wrong. As of now what I think a street fighter is.... someone that could give a flying fuck about your brand new whatever, your shit is too damn shiny anyway and would prefer to go for a ride as apposed to a wash that is if you could keep up with your 10 mm chicken strips n whatnot. Someone that sees what they want in something thats not there yet, a sort of visionary. A street fighter is someone that can McGyver something together from a Suzuki and a Honda with Yamaha bolts holding it together and a Kawasaki head light, when it's done itll look damn gooooood. Someone that isn't afraid to think outside of the box. Someone that acualy rides and wears gear because theyve crashed, hard, and it hurts. I aint to proud I like my skin. And lastly a street fighter is someone not something... to me that's what a street fighter is. I think my sleep disorder brought some clarity to this for me lol.

A streetfighter can't be considered a streetfighter without personal customization.

To me a streetfighter is a sport bike that was at one point crashed, dropped, or neglected to the point the plastics and stuff weren't worth replacing. At that point the customization starts, could be a simple headlight, and plastic removal, it can also be much more, but a factory streetfighter to me is not a real streetfighter.

I would say 90% of streetfighters are sport bikes that were crashed, and it was far cheaper to make them functional with mods than to buy replacement parts. That's a streetfighter. How you want to customize it and classify it is up to you.

It's so much nicer to start a street fighter on a bike with single digit miles... then you don't have to worry about damaged parts...

So, no. That's not what a street fighter is.
