By "this", he means the guy on the seat. It's never about the bike, it's about the way you ride it.This is a streetfighter

Definitely. The bike is a direct result of the fighterer building it. And from what i can tell ,not ever knowing or talking to him, that gavin was and will always be one of the best. Not by what he built but who he was. I would have liked to meet the guy and and see that amazing creation that apparently was always up on one.

Thanks for your input new guy. You are technically wrong. GSXR 1000, CBR 1000, R1, Ducati 998, ZX10R, you know none of these are 1000cc right? I mean, technically.
So that leaves the Busa, 1098, 1198, 1199, ZX12, and ZX14. That it? Technically.

Where is this technical information that says so? There is none, shutup.
A streetfighter has no limit, it can be a 30cc mini moto, a midi moto, a 125 sports bike, ANYTHING you deem fit to be fightered. Whether others will put it in that category is another story entirely. People would be quick to criticise and that's what I find is the biggest problem with modifying bikes..

·Just to be different heres a serious answer to the original question 
The term "streetfighter" was first coined back in the 80's by someone in an article in BSH magazine & refered to a tough as fuck special built here in the UK this gave a name to the stuff we were building back then that didn't fit into the normal chop or superbike pigeon hole
Some of the originals were hardtail some not, all were minimal hard looking bikes & many had the biggest engine we could find crammed into the smallest lightest frame
This idea & name later spawned the first streetfighter magazine & the idea & attitude got taken over by the busted sports bike with renthals & twin spots brigade years later
Now we are at a whole different level & its no bad thing but most people wouldn't know one of the original streetfighters if it ran them over

STREETFIGHTER... EVIL purpose built motorcycle. built to scare the fuck out of old people, normal people, small animals, large animals, children, trees, grass, dirt, rocks, stones and god himself. these motorcycles are built by men (and women) with very large BALLS. loud,high powered, offensive and usually built by the rider for the rider. not for the faint hearted or ricer boys.

That is something that I'd love to ride right there. You can't pidgeon hole that bike in to any single "style" of bike. Its obnoxiously its own. Which is just awesome. We need more like this one. THAT ^^^ bike has the "wtf?!" factor that makes you stop and stare.![]()
I suddenly have an urge to find an oil boiler for my hardtailed '67 BSA frame. :rock:
