well i got an offer on my 929 that i just couldnt pass up. bike had almost 28000 miles on it and i have been thinking about getting something newer for a lil while now.
i was thinking about getting a new R1 or since i just got a new job at the Honda shop here i get bikes at invoice so thought about an 08 1000RR.
BUT i love the streetfighter look so now im leaning toward a new FZ1. just wanted to see if anyone has some FZ1 pics with custom headlights, subframes etc......

I'd personally go with the 1000RR and sell the parts I didn't need. FZ1s are kinda sluggish unless you like the sport touring thing.

Fuck the R1 unless you like taking transmissions apart.

well i checked insurance on the R1 and 1000RR and all i can say is FUCK that! so i got the FZ1 and man do i LOVE it!!!!! insurance is actually cheaper than my 929 was and i got it for waaaayyyy below MSRP so i had to get it. already got some big plans for it and going to "de-tune" it this weeknd (cams, timing,blah blah blah yall know) to be more R1 style engine but its still smoking fast! heres some first day pics. ill post some more after i take off the giant mud flap and winkers. and that exhaust will be replaced by a nice carbon leo vince

well first things first. im doing all performance mods. full akrapovic system, pc3, k&n, ign module, and quickshift. should have all this and the intergrated tailight and flush mounts for the front tomorrow. i havent decided on what i want to do about the headlight. its kinda grown on me so ill prolly keep it that way for a while. feel free to throw out some ideas!

damn that looks sweet!!!!! where did you find that? not a real big fan of the drag look but that looks pretty good. heres some shots of my bike after i put the full akrapovic exhaust on and cleaned up the rear. still waiting on the front flush mounts. and ya i keep the bike in the living room.

i really like the no faring single light setup that the europe bikes have. anyone know where i can get one?
