Arite. im sick of almost dying from tankslappers. can anyone help me decide which damper to get.

i know Ohlins is the shit.
Scotts is good.
GPR is good.
HyperPro used to suck.
gellato (? somthing like that) sends you a damper with an ohlins shock inside for 100 bucks less than an ohlins.

but i want to know which mounts easiest?
which ones take fabrication, which bolts right up?
wuts the pluses and minuses?
which will last?
which needs to be rebuilt right away?

I really like how the GPR bolts right up to the bike and you dont have to fab nothing. I like how it looks better also, opposed to the shock on the bike. and i also like that the dial is right there for you to look down at and adjust.

just curious what everyone else thinks??

i vote ohlins for no other reasons then they make awesome shocks and my boy has one on his 636. I think the ones with the actual shock absorber is better then the GBR type ones...but i dont know why...and they look cooler...esp on a streetfighter imo

alright. valid points. but this is for my fairinged bike. and i usually opt not to go for the most giantest coolest company just cuz of the name brand.

plus miller just found me one (GPR) for 337! you cant beat that.
