So I got my new 1100 and it's got the airbox. Which is cool. I've never actually seen one before. But fuck trying to get the carbs in and out. It's a bitch. Is there anyone here that has run with a stock airbox on here with an 1100?

How did you get the carbs in and out?

How did you get the airbox itself out?

And as far as getting it running best should I leave the airbox?

first you have to unscrew the bolts from airbox
pull back the airbox(a little help would be goog froma friend)
then pull the carbs on the left side until you have 2 out
release the cables and there you are

For all the oil boilers (except for the case of flat slide carbs) the best thing you can do is leave the stock air box on, or you will spend the rest of your life and then some trying to jet and tune it. (Literally)
