Hey all,

I'm picking up a '83 GPz750 tomorrow to fix up and flip since I already have more bikes than I can ride at once.

It needs some work and a few parts thrown at it. I'm thinking I may be able to make about 30-40% profit on it if I keep it stock.

However, like most people on here, I really want to mod it a little. I'm thinking a simple frontend swap (non-USD) and some more modern wheels and brakes. But I'd be spending another $400-500 to do so.

Would it be worth my time and effort to update the bike, ask a higher price and still make a decent profit?

Thanks.

IMO I think you'd be better off just keeping it stock. Throwing another 4-500 into will only get you another 200 ontop unless you get a really good deal on the upgraded suspension it won't be worth it not to mention the extra labor to make things work right.
