Its funny, I started riding over 13 years ago, and when someone said the words " street sighter" to me, I had no idea what the heck they were talking about. I was told, although don't know how much I believed it, was guys that would go down the street with chains and pipes and try to make each other crash and generally, beat each other. Thus, they wrecked and the bikes were always all banged up.
I have just got into the scene myself, with the idea to build one,and by far, am no expert or hard core fighter guy myself. I just think its a good way to go with a beat bunch of parts and no desire to spend a zillion dollars on stock bodywork and what not.
With that said, I still find it funny how much I have been seeing/hearing guys talk about street flighters. It like the "chopper" fad for the current age. And a lot of guys on other boards are basically taking off the stock bodywork, putting on an acerbis headlight and calling it a fighter. LOL
To me, a street fighter should be a work of art, but the kind of art that doesn't appeal to everyone, just a select few.
