Now that I have your attention, I've posted this for Green Lantern...he was amazingly pissed when he heard mention of a "streetfighters suck" thread on my home board, as I was. It's old and now locked, but discuss the little bitch. After that thread, he smartened up, but man, I help my tongue for like a week just to be polite...fucker...

He was just starting shit.

Streetfighters feed off of people not liking their bikes. If you like your bike and someone else doesn't like it, it proves that you did what you set out to do.

I posted pics of my bike on hayabusa.org and a bunch of people said stuff like, "I'D NEVER RIDE THAT THING" and it just made me happy. Good, enjoy your $500 garage tip-over!

the way i see it is people who dont like streetfighters...dont have the same love for machines and/or appreciate mechanical ability and originality like we do.

Funny how we all love making our bikes unique to our own tastes so much that we become completely desensitized to what the rest of the biking community thinks may be cool. That just strikes me as funny because I'd dare to say that most of us got into motorcycles in the first place because we wanted the "coolness" that comes with having a bike. Coolness is so relative.

Dang it, I think some of that Philosophy 101 class is actually sticking with me...:pipe:

For me it's always been trying to learn and improve my riding skills for racing and especialy off road and reading terrain & rubbin elbo's, or studying books and then going out on the street or track and practice what i read or learned, and beating the piss out of my bikes and trying to get every aspect of preformance dialed in. Taking classes. It's all been a competative thing. I always injoy the commute to work as well. I am so self absorbered i never even noticed untill recently that people were looking ???? :Stupid:
And NOW I'm a show off  :LolLolLolLol:

i gave up trying to explain my bikes to people a looong time ago. either they get it, or they don't. most of the guys/gals that DON'T get it aren't usually the kind of people i want to hang out with any way, so it's no sweat off my nuts. those same people are the ones that get mad at me when i walk past thier "blinged" bikes without even a glance on my way to check out the bike with the spray bomb paint job with more character. thank god i don't judge half the shows i go to :D

Yeah, I just read that thread, and with in the first couple posts, I could see that dude is what I like to call, " a shit stirrer"...every board has one..their sole purpose is to argue and try to cause conflict..useless life forms if you ask me.

I saw that too, that is from Mark Twain:

It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.
