I bought this bike about a year ago from a friend. It had all white track plastics with a little fog light as a "head light." I rode it like that for a bit but I had always planned to SF it. I was wanting something like a CB1000R set up, and had planned to put the same headlight on it making a CB600R. Kinda of.

Turns out the parts for that headlight come out to like $600+. Not happening.

I then sold the plastics and rode it around all funkified all year last year. Once winter hit and peak season began (big money when you work at UPS) I purchased dirt bars and mounts, drilled holes in the top tripple and got them mounted. I then needed longer brake lines. Added on the headlight at the same time, and a Jardine fender tidy thingy.

I'm now awaiting a windscreen off of a Triumph Street Triple which is sitting in customs in NY. I also have some silver mid fairings on the way which will clean up the sides a little and give me some front turn signals.

It has a Bazzazz Quick Shifter and gutted cat, aftermaket rearsets. It was also geard -1+2, I switched the rear for a stock size and it's much better for riding the street now. It had Ohlins suspension but I sold them and picked up stockers since I don't hit the track. I prefer going to Deals Gap more. The Ohlins was also sprung for a 240lb rider, and I'm about 100lbs less lol.

Some random pics:

Here's where it stands now, minus the windscreen that's on the way, and mid fairings.

I've also taken of the MGP exhaust as it was insanely loud and I somewhat value my hearing lol. I painted the cap on the end of the stock exhaust flat black with high heat resistant Rustoleum made for grills. I don't have pics of that yet.

The exhaust is up on eBay if anyone wants it, as well as the fairing stay and stock headlights that came with the bike.

Now that's how you make a first post. Welcome to the jungle.
Have any other big future plans for it or just enjoying the ride?

I'm debating on an aftermarket exhaust or sticking with the gutted cat and stock muffler setup. Once I figure that out I'll borrow a friends auto tune add on for the bazzazz and get a custom map going. Then maybe clean up some wiring and tuck everything well.
The tank fairings need some trimming and I've got some silver mids I need to figure out how I'm going to mount.

Then get it all one color and looking clean!

After missing the mailman yesterday and kicking myself, I finally picked up my windscreen this morning. Just in time since today at tomorrow are about 70° after one of the longest winters ever here in southern IN.
