Not sure if anyone of you have done this, or thought about doing it after seeing the Honda NC700/CBR1000RR, but I enjoyed the versatility created by moving the tank to the back and adding storage up-front.

For those that don't know what I'm talking about. NC700 Storage area:

CBR1000RR

Gas tank in the tail:

Any idea how hard it would be to re-create? Any issues with fitting such gas tank in a tail?
I know most airbox take up a lot of space under the normal tank, but it's pretty nice to have more room for stuff somewhat 'hidden'

Thoughs?

Bet the front gets lighter with a full tank
All that weight up high and all the way to the rear
But it's not like your taking it to the track
Could be a lot of fun and a good daily

suzuki did something like that in early 90's

GSX250F across, it we're based from the 1st gen GSXR250 (^the one with gold rim on the pic)
one of the issue on that bike is the tank capacity...

Is that the filler neck behind the seat?

Mate of mine has an NC700

He says it feels alright, nicely balanced low centre of gravity - apparently the engine positioning balances the tank weight.

He has said more than once the front has felt iffy though....
