Sweet setup waltari! Very jealous.

This is an in-progress of mine. Hoping to be moving in 1st of December. Should be all set up and running smoothly by the 1st of the year.
Looks like you're going to have a pretty nice shop yourself very soon! (looks alot bigger than mine).

It'll be pretty nice. Its 14'x36'. It will have a loft above the office too, that will be 14'x14'. Limited for space on the sides because I will be doing details out of it, but building benches down one side, wired for 220, 2 water outlets, 110 everywhere, TONS of lights, plumbed for air. On the far side, up against the office, I'll have movable tables/benches that some of the bikes sit on. Should be a pretty sweet setup, if it ever gets done. 2 months behind as it is...

Tools are limited now but hoping to expand soon. 220 mig, tubing notcher, drill press, tubing bender, slew of hand tools and air tools. Hoping to pick up a small bench top vertical band saw, and a small lathe soon.

Right now I'm 20x20 with a 9ft ceiling. Someday, I hope to get closer to 1300 sq ft with a second floor on the added portion. Currently have 220v circuits for the mill, lathe, compressor, and a TIG welder (which has yet to materialize). Plenty of airhose for all the air tools but when I expand I'd probably plumb hard lines. Also, I made sure there was really good lighting and plenty of 110v circuits for standard electric tools. I'd really like to add a single stall width of the front and close it off for all my woodworking tools. Right now, I have a rolling workbench that I take outside and close the door every time I need to do some woodwork and it works but it's kind of a hassle. All in my head right now but I might start designing it all out in CAD this winter for an indoor project.

This is actually the basement of my building, allegedly similar to a porn set. There could be hood-rats banging in the corner for all I care, because this is actually the first indoor workspace I've ever had. Nothing quite like getting frostbite when trying to perform the most routine stuff on your car or bike.

Yes, that is a carpet under them.

EDIT: forgot to give credit where credit is due and quote Mr. Kaos as the porn stage aficionado

To fund your streetfighter build, you very well could use that space as a porn set! Couple of vases, a sofa, and some hot broads with nothing but high heels on..........it'll work I tell ya!

Nice space dude.....

j/k man, Just save your $$ as you can and buy a few things at a time. if you buy tools as you need them, or only when they're on sale, you'll have a full set before you know it.
