I am going to need to get my old track bike parts, put together as a street fighter project, titled this year. I am going to have a cop buddy of mine run the vin number off the frame, to make sure its legit.
This is in NJ.
This is the frame that I originally had bought with the track bike and the frame I took off to use a better shape frame. When I bought the bike, it was non titled, like a lot of track bikes, so I didn't think anything of owning it for trackdays without a title either.
I have somewhere, a bill of sale, simple thing typed up in Word, that myself and the seller of the track bike, both signed and lists the vin number.
Here is the question: What do I need to do, to get this thing titled, to eventually register and insure it?
