Since joining the CF Forum a few weeks ago I've accomplished more on my project than I have in the last several years. Seeing other peoples efforts gets the motivation going. So I thought I'd chronicle my build in hopes it will keep it going. I have a lot done on the project but nothing finished. So here's to getting some stuff finished.

Made a lot of progress on wiring harness this week, Endo picked me up a battery in the city today. More to report soon.

Correction. The tank emblems are complete. Now I just have to build a motorcycle to put them on! lol.

Hey! I finally completed wiring. Removed 3 large connectors. 4 relays and about 40 feet of wire and everything still works ..... AMAZING!

Tacked a bracket to the frame for battery neg. I'm no welder so will have someone complete TIG it later.

Under seat tray with homemade fuse block and ignition module.

Man-oh-man time goes by. Anyway finished some long over due stuff this week. I installed the brake calipers back in the spring but they locked up. All my calipers (4) were corroded and frozen. So ordered new ones.

Also cleaned and resealed the new tank. Tank was modded to change tunnel ages ago.

Bungs welded in for future FI return and vent lines.

Finished with new petcocks, cap and key. .... ready to install.

Got my Head Pipes back from Ceramic coating today. Top Gun Coatings are my new best friends. They do nice work. Bolted em on, hooked up mufflers. A little gas from lawn mower can and she runs for the first time in 8 years! Why do my pictures end up rotated. I turned them right side up in Photo Bucket but when I transfer the IMG code here they revert to side ways???? UUGH !

You never know! I'd like to instal USD forks and different brakes, and a wider wheel in the future, but what to keep spokes!!!! Just don't know what yet!

Finished mods to the case cover for oil cooler today. I bored out the main oil passage from the pump and turned a threaded weld bung to extend passage out for a line to the oil cooler. The bung also blocked of the old passage to the filter cavity.

Also made a block off plug for the kick start hole. I removed it.

Made AN lines to connect cooler to case cover and return line to a custom cover where the filter used to be.

Clugged up a temporary line with a clear plastic section so I could check and be sure I actually had oil flow. IT WORKED!

Now I need a new oil filter. Thats next.
