well, I rode to work this morning. which was a miserable ride. mostly because I had to leave at 4:30 in the morning and it was foggy all the way there. yuk
but then after work I want outside and it was BEAUTIFUL. so I filled up with gas and decided to take the long way home. now, mind you, there is no short way home. it takes a little over an hour of regular driving to get from my house to work. about 50 miles. about 40 miles of highway and 10 miles of twisties. it gets boring really quick.
so, like I said, I went the LONG way home. I took the LONG BACK way home. get my drift? nuthin but about 70 miles of pure back road twisties. mountan roads, valley roads, but very few straight roads. it was one of the best rides I have ever taken. theres just somethin about taking a 150 degree uphill banked apex, while hitting the sweet spot in third gear at 3 times the posted limit and just NAILING a perfect line through the curve. it make you forget all the crap thats going on. WOW, thats what motorcycling is all about.
I love it.
