Thanks again for the promt help

So im planning on putting a turbo kit together myself for my 1996 Zx7r and im kinda on a budget.

As for the turbo model im looking at a t3/t4 variant link as follows

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/T3-T4-T04...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item519ebfe34a

Along with the intercooler as follows

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FRONT-MOU...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c535c391d

are these items suitable for turboing a zx7r ?

Now im new to all this so some of the lingo might not register so go easy on me :D

The main question i have is about the oil cooling of the turbo, do you run a line from the bikes oil to the turbo and if so where would you run it off the bike or do you run a separate oil system ?

As said before this is very much new territory for me but im very keen to get things moving
will also post pics of my setup progress as it comes together

i wont ask to much to start off but any info on what i have asked will be greatly appreciated:remi:

Had a quick scan through and I've already got my head around most of the stuff quoted i guess my question on the oil feed is kinda specific to the zx7r

I've noticed there a block from Australia with a turbo 7r would anyone happen to know if he was still about on the forum ? might be able to answer the oil feed question

Cheers folks ;)

I think that turbo is a bit large for your bike - its meant for a car with 4-5 times your bike's engine displacement. You'll probably never be able run enough boost to need one as big as that. A smaller turbo would spin up faster and so have less lag, but give you the same (usable) boost level.
