I am just outside salt lake. Where do you usually ride? I ride the alpine loop a lot cus its just about 10 minutes from my door.

I mostly ride around town. my bike is not totally done and I have not made a seat for it yet. I went to ogden on it yesterday and my ass was killing me. do you know of any riding groups here in the slc area?

I saw the pics you pout up of it. Looks bad-ass. I'm not from around here and I am not acquainted with any of the riding groups. What else do you have left on it? I like the tail a lot.

I still need to figure out what I am going to do with the headlight. I bought and acerbis blitz. i like the way it looks but the lights to not work very well. I will have to see if I can make that work; make a seat; paint polish, and thats about it. I dont know if you are down but i am tring to get a possie together to go on local rides. Well it is just an idea and i do not have alot of friends with bikes. but i think it would be cool. you know may in the area with bikes? how do you like the buell?

I had an acerbis dhh w/ 35w bulbs on my old gsxr and it just wasn't good enough. I've been thinking about buying some hella micro de projector lights and using those on the buell with the stock flyscreen. I am definitely down for riding. Seems I am always running around by myself. I've taken a few trips with some cruiser guys, I guess those are all the people I know. It isn't bad when we are heading down to escalante and stuff like that, but I hate being the sportbike in the cruiser crowd. I know two guys around here, one has an aprilia and the other an rc-51 and they are pretty cool. I could talk to them. The buell is great. It isn't super fast or anything, but it handles really well, looks sick, and has a ton of torque which makes it a ton of fun to ride. I've had an old interceptor, z1000, slab gsxr, and the buell and it is the most fun by far.

those hella micro de lights are rad, spendy though. I wounder if the light beem is more horizontal like a dot approved light? I agree buells look sick. I was trying to get a cross between a buell and a cafe racer when I made the tail on my bike. i like the back tire to be showing as much as possible. I think it makes it look mean. I am down with riding whenever. i should have the seat done this week for longer rides. I also have freinds with cruisers and not too many with sport bikes. but i am down with any motorcycle possy. It is so much more fun with a group. see if you can round them up and i will do the same and see if we can get something going.

I am trying to get some tires on the buell right now. My dunlop 208s are toasted. So as soon as I can do that then I can ride again. Hows the kat doin?

the kat is coming almong. I finished the headlight the other day. I still need to switch out the lights. but it works fine for round town. let me know when you are ready to rock. I have talked to a few people at would like to go on rides. we just need to orgainze a time.

I got the new tires on, and man they are great. Dunlop qualifiers. Anyway, I am looking to go do nebo loop this weekend. Its about an hour south. Idk if that is something you are interested in. Just lmk.
