Hi guys,
Im currently building a fighter from an 98' fireblade 919
and need to know how a vfr800 single sided swingarm will fit?
is it a relatively easy swap? how much machining will it take
(will it fit)

think you'll want the vfr 750 arm to make things a lot easier on you.

VFR 800 arm is much harder to put to your blade, I recomend vfr 750 (94-96) arm which is much easier. But of course it is possible to put there a vfr 800 arm

thanx for the advice, but dont worry, I kit up when doing some serious riding! that pic was taken in my driveway!
and thanx for the advice Arno, but I already have a vfr800 sss that I had to beat out of some young punk kid! (just kidding no beating involved)

First up ya blades a 918 not 919 stop trying to squeeze extra chip shop points :)
Next up i'd sell that 800 arm on if i were you far to much of an arse ache to try and fit, take the money from that and buy the VFR750 94-97 swingarm, get the 20 x 25 x 20 spacer made and slide that all in, under an hours work and your away

Heres one i made earlier :letsride:
