Hey the First 'Fighter says it was built in 2000/2001.

Shouldn't there be some rules on WHEN the bike was built and finished? If you just buy someone else's StreetFighter that was built ages ago, it's shouldn't count.

It would be like buying a Production fighter, chopping the rear mud guard and entering into a contest. You didn't actually do any of the work.

Totally agree with you Shane:knucks:

If most read the thread on the bike then it probally would'nt be an issue,,building fighters here since 1996,,this was what i consider my prized possesion,it cost me a marrige as most my time was spent in the garage building it,she gave me an ultimation,Bike or Marrige,Bike won out, sold all previous ones i built beforehand to let others ride around and they probally claim they built them themselves but most in this country(Ireland)know my work and their claims would be discredited by those within the Fighter scene here,,Yep if there was rules to say when a bike had to be built i'm sure the Moderators would have specified this, this bike still sits in my garage awaiting the arrival of spring for some riding..all bikes i have entered over the previous 3 months are my own work and F.O.T.M is a perfect way of letting all see what we have been and are building over here since the mid 90's....

Good Luck to all the lads in this months F.O.T.M.

fact is,..there isn't a rule so far so R's Sponny aint breaking one. but if the entry is supported by a build thread, at least you can vote with prior knowledge and history?

Maybe worth thinking about for the future, just like a rule that the entry must be finished to the point that its moving, and legal to use on the road in its country of origin ( i.e MOT and taxed in UK)

He built the bike himself. Don't see a problem.
