Hey everybody I need to replace my clutch, it doesn't really hook up until the very end of lever travel and still feels a little soft, plus it still engages a bit with lever all the way in when the engine's cold. I have to hold the brake a bit if it's in gear and I'm stopped. If it's anything like the rest of the bike it was beat and thrashed on so I want to replace it all, friction material, steel discs and springs so I can have a good baseline of how it should be.
But I can't find an OEM clutch anywhere, just EBC and Barrett clutch kits. I've read they aren't that good, the springs aren't as good, they don't last as long, etc. Supposedly OEM is best but where the hell do I find one? Thanks.
Right now I'm looking at the EBC SRK17 kit for $150, since it's available on Amazon.
