Hi guys

I'm thinking about changing the front end on my '84 V65 Sabre. I just measured this morning and from end to end the shocks/forks are 37" long.

Seems as though finding new inverted forks in a length that long is gonna be tough, if not impossible these days?

Anyone know of any newer bikes with inverted forks that long?

Thanks!

Zx900b is the longest usd at 31.75. But take into acccount the over all diameter of the new front wheel as well. (19" vs 17")

Youd be hard pressed to find a front end that long. Also how much does it weigh? You dont want a soft front end

Re: What newer front ends 37" long

Dirt bike forks and new springs. Or, dirt bike forks, reuse your existing springs and build spacers to compensate for the longer legs. Lots of guys make spring spacers out of Schedule 80 (thick wall) PVC pipe. Progressive Suspension uses PVC on their products. It's plenty strong and doesn't scruff up the stanchions inside.

Forks are just telescoping tubes. Nothing fancy. They won't even know if you put Saber a springs in them....
