Thats high miles... do you have all the original parts? Why'd you fighter it? Like was it wrecked? If it wasn't wrecked and you had the parts... honestly I'd pay at most 3.2k but I'd offer 2.5k and would wanna stay around that. Since I've never actually seen it, assuming its a clean title and never wrecked, I'd offer 2.5k over the internet. I may pay more if it was something local I could come see type of thing.

:wtf: Since when is 20k high mileage for a bike?? I know the motor in that bike as I have had one and 20k is nothing. 60-80k is getting up there but 20k is nothing.

Ask $2500 and don't take less than $1500 for it if you are gunna sell. Just be aware that a fighter like this is not everyones cup of tea, especially since it's bobbed.

^everything you say is fucked up.

I'd figure about 2 g's for that bike. Clean title, good running motorcycle, road legal, AND sport bike based! 2 g's.

Ask 2700, try to get 2400.

Maybe prices are different where you guys are, cause here, I've seen that bike stock go for as much as $4k+. Hell, there's a dealership here selling a 2000 CBR 600 for 3.7k right now, and it will sell for probably 3.2-3.4k before taxes. When you consider that you do a top end every 50 or so hours on a dirt bike, 20,000 miles is kinda high. Thats my opinion. If you don't like it then fuck you too, lol. Lets not get all sad faced and angry about it. I said I'd pay 2.5k for the bike, maybe more if I saw it in person. Half the responses are in that area. Also, I can see what he's done to it, and some people will pay more for it as some will pay less. I factored in the fact that I would pay more for a custom bike that I liked than the exact same bike stock, especially if he still had the parts he took off. If you don't take that in to account then all the bikes on here are worth less than blue book just cause they aren't "correct". And if you're still butt-hurt about it, then remember that I buy shit, and in all of your angry little opinions, I'll pay too much for it. Everyone on here who knows me, knows that I wouldn't tell someone some fucked up shit just to screw with him. That was my opinion, and if you wanna get all pissy, then go fuck yourself, lol. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over the epic battle of wits on CF. So we can all get over it or get on with it or whatever.

Does the bike have a title? I assumed clean title....

The numbers i said before were what i think you should try to get for it, not what i think it's worth.

I'd always try to get more for something than it's worth. That's why i dont like selling stuff to my friends. Selling is about trying to get as much dough as you can, buying is about lowballing what something's worth to try to get a good deal.

I'd say 2K if it is running properly. Fightered bikes are more difficult to sell, but find an educated buyer and you should get 2g's.

Modified bikes are hard to put a value on. they are only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Set a price of around $2,500 and then lets make a deal with interested buyers.

add a bunch of chrome and an extended swingarm and a v&h or Muzzy Race exhaust with a fake Injector Bottle and strap the front end and all that adds 15000 atleast round these parts it does...if you polish a turd its still a turd only you can sell it better

$2500 really????? good luck

just as an example, if i'm having a hard time unloading my FZR that has more into the motor work than i am asking for it, then how in the hell do you figure 2500? i realize that "worth" is whatever someone is willing to pay but i think at 2500 you'll be sitting on that thing for a long damn time. people aren't buying right now and there's a ton of good used bikes out on Ebay and CL for way less than they would have gone for 2 years ago.

1400 was a sell it now price. start at 2k and be flexible

The truth is that fighters represent an extremely niche market. We're all kind of numb to it since we prefer them, but I'm speaking from a broad motorcycling perspective.

You removed the fairings and the possibility of a passenger, which ruins the image that the VAST majority of sportbike riders buy sportbikes for. Most of the motorcycling world still associates "streetfighter" with "crashed bike," or something that still needs to be repaired back to stock. While we look at a lack of fairings as a positive, most buyers look at it as a point to negotiate lower.

Add the fact that it's a total buyer's market right now as well. It's flooded with broke people trying to unload the toys they bought when life was easy. Pricing used to peak in the summer and valley in the winter, but now all year is winter. Sellers are getting desperate as a result, and a buyer can expect more bike for their money than ever before.

Honest opinion, I'd list it at 1.9k, feel lucky if I get it, but brace myself for ~1.6k.
