im not sure whats up with that...maybe to hold you in while you do wheelies.

thats the most logical thing ive ever come up with...and believe me, i think about that a lot.

i agree that with a little extra angle they can look cool, but they go way too far!

i bet it from a lot of bent subframes..lol
wheelies gone wrong huh? that could certainly have been an influence.

picture doing a wheelie on one of those things tho...it might actually support/hold you in place a bit.

agreed. it does give the pouncing appearance/ aggressive stance. sometimes or most times it just goes overkill tho.

I think the high tail is just to categorize it from the other bikes out there. You don't have to go with the high tail if you don't want to.My street fighteer tail is a 1999 r6 tail.It is not so high even though i would love to vave it 2 inches higher.Once again, the high tail is just to say. I used to be real heavy as a sport bike, and now i am free as a bird. Thank you. I am a a street fighter.:LolLolLolLol:  :

Its just the GERMAN style, the british seems more about performance, and weight, and the Americans its about glam and drag racin.

heh, not ALL Americans!!! There are definitely WAY TOO MANY chromed-out, stretched frame, neon-lit bikes in America, I agree with you there, but I think you'll find on this site, we have MUCH better taste than that! :LolLolLolLol:

I think the bike in your avatar looks hot, I definitely like a small upward angle, I'm just talking about the ones that are almost straight up in the air.
