good question..my 929 is over 20k and i want to be safe, because i know bad wheel bearings can give you the wobblies when doing wheelies.

I guess I have more faith in wheel bearings than most people.
But I don't do wheelies or that crazy shit.

I mean, every year ain't a bad thing. It depends on how much and how hard you ride what you -need- to do, but the bearings on my bike are like $180 for a set so I just have new ones machined (for like $100) every 50-100k miles.

i've got an account at a bearing warehouse and get them dirt cheap...sometimes plus the extreem winters can be wuite hard on a bike if they never move

I check mine (as should ANY AND EVERY shop) whenever a wheel is off the bike. It's not a hard thing to check, and for $6-10 a bearing, you'd be stupid not to replace them when they need it.
