I dont have a local shop in the DC area that carries them, so my only option seems to be the interweb.

Which is the best trusted moto helmet site on the net?

Here's a shot in the dark, but does anyone own both a Scorpion ex-700 and a Simpson Street Bandit by any chance? .... I need to make sure that the helmet I buy fits me as well as a XL Scorpion...

don't know if it helps, I have a Euro Super Bandit in size 8 and my head is circumferential 64cm. I had to modify the inlet a little in the ear area but after that it fits perfectly.

I have an Outlaw. My girl has an EXO-700. We both wear the same size and her lid is nice and snug on me. The simpson is a little loose. I wear a 7 1/8" and I always wore a beeni under it. the scorpion is a medium.

Your best bet is ebay. That's the cheapest I've seen them. There was a guy selling a new in the box outlaw for $325. He was a dealer and stocks them regularly. Can't remember his user name right now though.

Also, you might want to look into Bandit helmets out of Germany. They make similar lids to the Simpson Bandits and with shipping to the USA they run right around $325 as well. They are DOT approved and they offer visors and accessories for them.

That's what I'll probably go with soon. I just need to find out how the Craft's are sized. I wear XXL Arai and Shoei but a XXXL Suomy. I havn't seen a Craft XXL anywhere.

If it helps...CRAFT helmets run a little larger than other helmets. For example, Im usually a size M in shoie but I wear a Sm in Craft.

i have a 7 3/4" head and the XL Craft RX-6 doesn't fit me.

My roommate's head is SLIGHTLY smaller and the helmet fits him. We can both wear my XL Shoei.

I'm debating shaving this Craft down to make it fit...

Sorry I haven't said anything about it yet, AJ, I'm still debating what I want to do with it. It's barely too small for me

if you dont mind a knock off CKX makes a helmet that looks the same as the simpson ones dont know about there but here in the great white north they are allot easier to come by walk in any dealer and its in the motovan catalogue
