If you don't know or have never heard of the slimy crud, do some online research and see what an event this bi annual ride has become. You'll see bikes you never see anywhere else, and sometimes some "celebrities" show up too, like Peter Egan from Cycle World magazine, Erik Buell, Blake Young, Dean Mizdal, Gary Nixon........ have all shown up at sometime or another.

I've worn my Slimy Crud tshirt in places like Cancun and once in England where people have recognized it and struck up conversation about the experience or the stories.

Ride in if you can make it.

This Sunday, October 4th in Pine Bluff WI, and Leland WI

I'm still not sure if I'll be there or not. My dad plans on taking his CBX, but if I go, I'll probably be in my Camaro. I don't want to drive my dad's Harley and the KTM doesn't have street worthy tires on it. If I make the trip on the KTM, I'd have to buy him new tires when we get back. I'f the weather is looking questionable and we still decide to go, we will both be in my Camaro.

It ain't a bike but my car can probably stick with most riders in the turns! Just have to be sure to buckle up so you don't body slam the door. lol

After watching a few of the videos... where would I be able to park my car? Like half a mile away? Who made the videos?

If I do in fact go, I'll be sure to bring my GoPro camera to take some videos of the trip between the two spots and for the cruise through the bikes. My dad said it looks like it will be raining so he would probably be going with me in my car.

I got my schedule today for next week and it says I work on Sunday from 3-9. I tried talking my boss into letting me switch hours with someone else, but I'm the only one currently trained to do what needs to be done. So... as much as I would like to go, it doesn't seem worth it to drive for ~4 hours to spend 1.5 hours looking at bikes when I could just go to the swap meet at 9am and spend an easy 5 hours finding the deals.

Make sure you post a lot of pictures and videos so I can see what I missed.
