I'll kick off this forum section by telling about my experience with Wild Hair and a couple products they sold me.
"They" being Irfan, the nice German man who runs the game. I ordered Big Bike ram air covers and a Gimbel coolant resevoir cover for my bike.
Irfan had to order both parts from Germany, and didn't charge my card until they arrived in the states, which is a good thing because you don't sit on a couple hundred bucks while hoping your shit isn't sinking in the Atlantic.
The Big Bike ram air covers are nice. I had to drill the mounting holes, but the obvious places for the mounting holes (a tab and a recess) are the right fit. A little bit of shaving had to be done, but other than that they're fine. At first, they rubbed against my tank and forks (the forks only when steering at full lock) but after a while they shaped themselves and now they're -perfect-.
The coolant resevoir cover from Gimbel was another story. Where the Big Bike cover was filled so you could paint the fiberglass with minimal work, the Gimbel piece was just raw fiberglass. On top of that, the mounting holes were about an inch off and drilling holes where they were supposed to be was impossible because of the shape of the cover.
I decided the cover wasn't worth the pain and Irfan had me take pictures of it not fitting (to send to Gimbel, he said) and had me mail the cover back. When it got back to him, he ordered a fender for me (by request) and just charged me the difference (which he hasn't charged me yet - the fender is still on its way from Germany). I'll review the Big Bike fender when I get it.
In sum: Wild Hair Accessories - very good.
Big Bike ram air covers - very good
Gimbel coolant res. cover - piss
