preferrably something cheap. crashed, non-running, whatever. looking to build a crazy little fighter for the g/f. they seem to be few and far between. if anyone has a line on one, please let me know.

i could just stick her on a gs500 or something, but i want her to have something that people don't see every day (and something i can take out and abuse when she's not looking )

i REALLY want a cb-1 (have since about 1990),but that's just 'cuz i'm a honda guy. they're hard to come by. most people that have them don't want to come off of em, and if they do, they want a fortune. i had plans of a built f2/f3 motor going into one, but... if i can get my hands on a bandit400, i can do alot with that too, and they have those dead sexy spondon looking tube frames too.

now that i think about it, a bandit would be cool, i bet i could get my hands on a jap-spec "vtec" 400 head, or maybe stuff an oil cooled 750 motor in it.

i can see it now, she's gonna have to paint the bike pink so i won't ride it :LolLolLolLol:

I know one of the local honda dealers in williamsport PA has a CB-1 for sale. I keep kicking myself in the ass for not picking one up when I had the chance a couple years ago (for $1000)

Being here in Japan, I get to see all the 400 cc bikes daily. Personally, I would go with the CB! It's the most seen 400 on the roads here and from what I am told it is beacuse of parts availability and the engine is bulletproof. Some of the local boys get them running damn good...
