I dont even see how He was able to post in the classifieds. Ill let the boss know. Probably a bug we gotta work out since this section is so new but I could be wrong.

While I would LOVE to contribute, I feel as if the general populous here is more seasoned than myself as far as general knowledge in this particular motorcycle demographic. While I may not be able to help others, I know what it is I'm looking for in-order to complete what it is I set out to do. In the meantime, how do you feel I should continue from here? Mindlessly spamming to build my post-count??? Introduce myself and ask others questions that I already know the answers to?? While I'm also a member at GSResources, Gixxer forums, Katrider forums, SVrider forums, and a few others, I must say that this is probably the most crass welcoming I've received.

You haven't even posted in the noob Welcome forum. Start there. Then a build thread. Then maybe interesting bike picture thread. Then picture challenge. Then help some fellow noobs in the noob question forum.

We usually give fellow members good deals but if you are only posting wtb threads then you should expect this reaction.

so proceed with noob intro and build thread so we can see what you're up to.

Quite the opposite. I'm just here looking for exactly what it is I'm in search of. I didn't know was going to ruffle feathers for whiners to plead that I kiss butt or ride their proverbial coattails.

Maybe you'd get a warm welcome if you introduced yourself in the welcome section for new members. Warm welcomes arent what the classifieds section is for. See the classifieds section is where people come to buy and sell parts. The welcome section is where new members who are going to contribute to the community come and introduce themselves and in turn get a warm welcome.

If you want a tactful response you should give em out first. No ones telling you to kiss our asses or "ride our coat tails", a turn of phrase which really doesn't apply here what so ever. All were saying is if you wanna get respect and a good response from the members here you gotta come correct and not make it look like you're just here to profit for your own personal gain. The welcome section is just as easy to find as the classifieds in in fact, you have to pass the welcome section to get to the classifieds section.
