should this be on a public forum?

Just sayin, even if it was in the VIP, it's still public. Know what I mean.

I was on a forum for a dance club. Needless to say the club was shut down and printouts from the forum and supeanas for ip addresses was used because of some questionable activities.

Keep it to PM's to ppl you personally know.

never knew that. I was under the impression it was a tag job. Didn't think about those custom builders with the choppers.

So what does someone do if they get a spondon frame? do they go to dmv with a bill of sale?
It's kinda quirky how it's done. Some states you have to be hush hush about it. Kinda like don't ask don't tell. But they all know custom bikes have to come from somewhere. You have to find a legitimate frame stamper that has been approved by your local DMV and who him the proof that both bikes are legal. You get the one restamped with the number that you want. It then gets a new title and the other one gets a certificate of destruction. They both have to be in the same "class" of bike but the CC's don't matter.

got it, so a suzuki # can go on a R1 frame. When I scroll through craigs I see ppl selling titles for $1500+. That's insane
It could but it's easier with bikes to use the same manufacturer since the brand is usually stamped in the engine cover. But of course someone somewhere has probably put a Zuki motor in a Yamaha:nuts:

The neck is the main part of the bike, hence if the neck says it's a Yamaha then it's a Yamaha no matter what motor it has. Kinda like sticking a chevy motor in a ford.
