I was talking to a guy today who wanted some better shocks/spring setup on his bike. hes kind of a heavy guy for it and it has a lot of miles.

i suggested it might be possible to upgrade to a zx suspension, similar to how SV riders upgrade to gsxr suspension.


anyone know about this or have any experience with these modles??

maybe he could have the forks revalved and sprung to something that suits his size/riding style. Any fork tuners in the area should be able to help out.
Failing that i think the zx bikes have 46mm forks(older models might be 41mm like zx6f) i am not sure if the axles will be the same so it might be a complete front end that needs swapped. The fork lenght might be different as well. Probably just best to have the factory ones worked.

i had suggested an entire front end swap, and an aftermarket rear shock....

he just cant do the work, nor did he know what to use. So i figured i'd try an offer some insight at least for him.
