Hey all,

All the way for the UK and this is my first proper build and i'm going to be updating here, the project started about a month ago and i will show you my progress so far.

Heres the bike at the start about 3 years ago when i bought it, used it to travel to university and anywhere I fancied. here its on the Derby easter charity run, its tatty to put it kindly.

I've always loved streetfighters and had one in the past and figured it was time to splash the cash and knuckle down with this beast.

Quick drawing to show my vision and direction i want to take, things change and over time im sure the idea will but least its a basis for the bike.

Like any project got to get rid of those dirty disgusting fairings! The clocks have been replaced by a miniature KOSO so will loose that great bug ugly mess at the front to.

Quick test to make sure the frame will polish up.

Repainted the engine and done some brightwork, stripped the old ones and polished up (pain in the arse!!!), oh and look how tidy my bench is ;).

Next was a Hayabusa tail and subframe transplant, this was a pain too. wanted this as i still want to carry the other half on the back and feel this will fit with the frame wrapping around the engine.

Did a drag bar conversion with 2 inch extensions, and fitted the dominator headlights

Example of the crappy paintwork at the front wheel.

the back wheel was a lot worse but here want i did to make it better. black inners and polished the outside. took A LOT of time....

Custom mudguard i made for the bike, turned out very well i say :D

Engine should be going in next week one ALL the polishing and rewiring has been done.

And that folks is the story so far! lemme know what you think and how im doing. love to hear what you suggest!

Hi

I was going to go for a more streamline tail but the other half wants to come on the back with me still.

Would have preferred a single seater race tail if i'm truly honest. ah well!

you can comfortably ride 2 up with a much smaller tail than that. check out my build. i ride 2 up all the time. ducati monster seat with removable solo cowl and removable pass pegs. i do kinda dig that big ass though. maybe do some fork shrouds up front to beef that up

I woulden't ever think, to use a Busa tail on a fighter, but interesting build so far and great fab skills!
Thank you, i hope the decision for the busa tail works out, so far im happy with it but depends what it looks like at the end.

Engine will be going in soon, im still working on polishing the lower engine cradle.
