not sure if this goes in here.
just got my 1988 zx10 back from the insurance after it has been written off (cat c),
it was written off because the rear subframe is slightly twisted, now im in two minds wether to fix it or strip the bike and sell off the parts.
just wondering how easy is it to swap out the rear subframe, never done anything like this before.

if you want to fix it back to stock it'll be a lot harder, or you could cut off the twisted area, leave enough for a single seat, relocate your rear lights/signals and start your fighter project! I've built a new subframe to fit an r6 tail on my suzuki bandit in the past, you'll need a welder and someone to weld it if you can't. pics would help.
