I've popped many a CB clutch nut loose with a flat blade(to straighten the lack tab) and a sturdy pair of needle nose pliers. Just grab two notches with the pliers and turn it with the flat blade. Works every time. No waiting on special tools. Just a thought ;) Killer bike dude. Very, very nice!

Re: CB750F rat / fighter

I use the needle noses to grab two of the tangs on the nut. Then I use a heavy flat blade to twist the pliers. I have also just used a punch and tapped the nut loose also. There's a convex washer behind there that maintains tension on the nut and clutch hub. It makes the nut feel tighter than it actually is. No need to run that sucker back down real tight at all. Spark plug tight then shoot for the next available locking tang.

Of course, using the right tool for the job is never bad either!

Especially if yer a pussy.

Jk :D. Ill stop thread jacking now.

I dig the stock light. I have a '80 F with that light and love it. Even though its HUGE!

If you wanna run the stock light and ditch the stem signals you can get a kit to convert your two bulb stock light into an integrated turn signal setup. Just wired one up on my bike last night. ;)
