Figured I would start my build here in the actual "build thread"...here is a little bit of history about my project.

Make: Suzuki
Model: Katana GSX 750
Year: 1994
Miles: 10,640
Price: $350.00

The bike sat up for a few years inside a warehouse here in North Mississippi. It was going to be a donor bike for another project from the PO, but he changed his mind, & decided to scrap the project when he figured out that building a 'Fighter is collectively MORE expensive/extensive than he thought. So his ignorance is my gain...:D

The bike runs GREAT! The PO actually rode it down to my house, which was awesome, except that he's a moron, and didn't take time to inspect the tires BEFORE riding it...they are cracked/dry-rotted to hell and back...(do I sense a burn out coming...? YES) even though the tires are practically brand new, they were on the bike for the entire storage period...he's lucky he didn't end u doing a full-body road waxing on his way down...

My plans for the Kat is to chop the sub-frame, chop the fairings, possibly an SSSA, change the shock to an R6 shock, Renthal bars, new paint, and cosmetic changes for the bike...

Enough talk. You aren't viewing this thread to see me flap my gums...here come the PICS!!!! Offer up any/all comments ideas, & support...thanks CF. Looking forward to the community joining in on my build! :metal:

Gotta wait on the lady to get home so I can buy an adapter for the can, and an adjuster...oh, and waiting on the future-Hitler-in-law to finish wrapping the seat in new, black leather... :D

I wouldn't, you'll regret it... Even if it means the build slows down for a while, you should do it like you want. It will save you money in the long run vs buying another sssa. I've spent quite a bit of money on several bikes, and I always run out of funds at the end and always wish I hadn't have started selling off the cool shit.

Then buy the pistol I just listed for sale...LOL. I have to get about $200 for a carb rebuild kit...

You can buy single jets and cheaper prongs then a carb rebuild kit. Go to Jetsrus.com put in what type of carbs you have and buy the size you need for the new pipe it's like $4 for each jet. I'm calling you later to help save the sssa

So a lot of you know about my carb woes...I got sick and tired of fucking with them, and posted the Kat up for sale. I sold it today for $1,700.00 Then turned around, and bought this puppy for a STEAL!!!!

2005 R6 it runs GREAT!!!

That back wheel is begging to be roasted!!!!

I need a Clip on, or dirty bars...I am going to transplant the projectors into a pyramid shape setup (probably) or go with a mask...Sadly, I had to let my SSSA go with the Kat, but I will most likely be getting another one. Paint, Lights, R1 forks, SSSA, & GSX-R Tail are on the menu!!!! I'll start another build thread ASAP...but for now, I am just going to RIDE!!!!
