The four cylinder two stroke is a 1600cc motor I built for my 320hp trail sled.....fastest thing I have ever been on.

 

Oil coolers came in today......I like it.

 

I will be building an under tail exhaust. Traded a fish finder for a pair of Hindles....and a few beer....lol

 

Fits like a glove. Just need to finish cutting splines on the new shaft .....

Finally had some free time to machine the case today...didn't take long....can't turn back now...lol

I am using a 2004 GSXR 1000 front end and wheels and 2003 GSXR 750 rear swing arm I got from my local wrecker

 

Did a mock up of the rear swing arm to get a dimension for the chain drive conversion....the rear tire is a 190

 

It's exhaust time. Tired of working on my knees so I built this aluminum table to work on....much better

Made it to the shop today and got started on the seat frame.....just tacked together

One of my first projects was to make a new set of engine covers....my cnc guy cranked these out in a few hours.

 

Stopped by my buddys cnc shop yesterday with a case of beer and I walked out with a pair of chain drive shaft blanks.....good trade...lol

 

Not too much exciting today. Finished the second intake manifold.

 

Finally finished that nasty rear exhaust section.... came out nice.

 

The seat frame will be lightweight alum tube. The tail lights will be led and also serve as turn signals. I weighed the bike today with everything on it except a battery and lights and it came in at 340lbs.....that GSXR stuff is really lite

 

Shortened the seat frame and reassembled the mufflers.....I like this much better

 

Hey guys, thanks for all the compliments. The kick starter has been on the table for a few months now but it's not looking good. The engine case was never designed for a kick starter.......just too much work....sorry. I have started on the exhaust. My engine builder wants the first 10 inches of exhaust to be 1.5" then the next 22.0" to be 1.75" with the rest to be at 2.0". This improves low rpm throttle response and great high rpm power....just like the new dirt bikes. Visually this makes for an ugly exhaust system, so I'm building a double walled system from super thin stainless tube.....lots of work.

Working on seat frame today. Made a few changes on the computer.....The rod ends should make it easy to get the seat position just right.

 

Oshawa Gear came through again and did a great gob cutting the splines on the new shaft....also took care of the heat treat and the cyl. grinding....great job

 

Did a little CNC work today. The adaptor plate came out really nice. Turned up the bearing support on the lath.
