Hey Man, Your are one SICK DUDE!! And I love it!! When you put the frontend on your bike did you have to make a new steering shaft? I am looking to put an R1 frontend on mine and was wondering what obstickles you can across with the triple clamps and help will be appriciated. Keep the SICK work coming, I feel like a junk waiting for his fix!!

First you need to find bearings to fit your head tube with your new front end. The bearings for my bike came from a 1978 Kawasaki 1000. Then you need to press out the triple shaft and have a machine shop make a new one to fit the new bearings and the new triple clamps you plan to use. Mild steel is ok but if you want to upgrade you can use 7075-T6 aluminum like I did.... it's stronger than steel..

That engine deserves a custom tube frame with supersport front fork, rear shock, swingarm, brakes and wheels. Keep the CVT as a primary transmission, but get a chain final drive. Now that would be awesome:D

I've only just been getting interested in Viragos and have been keen to get one. This seals the deal, I must get one!

That 2 stroke beast is incredible. Another project I've been keen on is a big 2 stroke shoe-horned into a little Suzuki Fronte. I've e-mailed TSS in the past discussing suitable motors, but that thing seems wilder again than anything previously considered. Got any info on it's build?

SUBBED.

I've got a buddy that just is finishing a restoration job on one of these and has another donor in his back yard. Would rather he did something more radical but they're his bikes. Not mine.

This is a beautiful project.

Wow, that looks really good mate.

It's easy to tell when someone knows what they are doing, have the knowledge/experience and the tools to make a bike like this. Great work!

If I might ask, how long have you been working on/customizing vehicles/bikes?
I have been working on crap for over 30 years....yup I'm old..... this is my 1972 Massey Ferguson lawn tractor that I'm working on..... I have a problem....haha
