I know S, I worry too much about the engine - an engineer once told me many moons ago that it's not good to rev a stationary motor (especially when cold) because it's a lot like throwing a punch and not connecting. Always best if the engine is under load he told me.
Have you come across any of the bike footage in Brazil? They bang their bikes off the limiter at every opportunity, lol! Painful to watch. One careful lady owner etc etc...
I'll take some footage of it out on the road soon.
Looking at buying a ZZR1400. I fancy putting some serious road mileage down before the big restrictions come into play...and they surely will.
