Awesome build man!

Where did you get the screens on your carbs?
Went to the motorcycle parts section of ebay and searched "velocity stacks". I think the place was called "mikes small engines" or something like that.

I like these stacks because they not only have the screens but they also have a sponge like filter inside the screens. I think I am going to get the cool look of stacks with the same protection as a pod filters. :shocker:

Tiny update. When I hacked up the stock seat I cut a little too much off the front end of the seat and there was a big gap between the tank and seat. Not horrible, but just aggravating. I cemented a piece of foam rubber in there to fill in the gap. Looks way better.

Motor is apart and cylinders are being bored. Maybe two weeks until bike is back together. Will post vid when running.

New spacer on seat.

Oh, I put some bel-ray stickers on the tank. That is like 10 horse power gain right there!!

Sorry if this has been covered, did not find it in my quick search, but what swinger is that or did you have your stock one braced?
I sent the stock swinger to a guy in Florida who advertises on EBAY. He lengthened it four inches on the front end and braced it. The whole job, shipping included was $220.00, and like $75.00 of it was shipping. Try and get a custom, extended, braced arm for that, it aint happening. So I was pretty pleased with the deal. :D:party-smiley::party-smiley::D

Cant beat that stretched profile!!!

Small update, new steering damper. Motor will back in about 2 weeks.:(

That dent sure looks like shit up close, maybe time for new tank.

that dent is fixable dude, jus take your time. you might as well tackle it now while the engine is out. and my once pristine tank became not so pristine a couple weeks ago when i knocked the bike over because the damn kickstand is too long now

Ok whitknucler6, I know you put a front end on your bike and had to order bearings. Any tips for me??? The stem fits right in the neck and I almost thought it was going to be a friggin bolt together job. But the bearings on top of the neck are the wrong size to seat all the way down on the stem. The bearings on the bottom of the stem dont fit up into the neck. So it seems if I can buy some bearings that are big enough inside diameter to fit around the stem and small enough outside diameter to fit in the neck I can bolt this thing up!! Tips / advise.

Also, can anybody ID this front end. The seller on ebay said he thought it was off a "97 kawasaki 900". I looked at some photos of 97 zx900r and they dont have USD forks. Anybody ID them?? Cant find any numbers or markings anywhere. Thanx

Looks like the bearing sizes are

top
35 x 55 x 14

bottom
35 x 55 x 14

My opinion is to have the 636 stem turned down so that you can use a 30 x 55 x 17 bottom and a 25 x 47 x 15 top. or press your original stem in to the 636 triple.
