I bought these from Dr Jellyfingers, so you know they're awesome. I think he said they were made from kangaroo? He's probably full of shit, but they are super soft.

Normal wear and tear on them. No bad seams. New bike with new riding position puts a seam in a really funky place on my pinky finger, and I'm a sissy, so I'm selling them.

$30 shipped anywhere a flat rate box will take them.

Did u actually use these or did they just sit on the shelf since u got them?

I'd buy them back if they were medium lol

Dire need is an understatement, he doesn't have a single bit of gear and was looking into super cheap used helmets (I'll give him a gently used brand name one for free before letting him buy a chinese lid) so I'm sure a good set of gauntlets would be a great addition to him becoming a street rider proper. Pretty sure I've got a decent riding jacket for him too.

Never had a problem with Teknic gloves myself either, even in a high speed crash where one hand was pinned under me sliding at pretty high speed they held up and my hands were fine, much to the amazement of the medical staff. :D

I'll talk to Ed today and PM ya, figure I'll have him try out a few pairs of gloves I have (cold weather stuff) and see what fits, just to be sure a Large is proper size for him.

I have a pair of A* boots here collecting dust. Size 45. They're a little big on my size 11.5 feet, which is odd. They aren't super protective, but they beat the shit out of sneakers. The shifter pad is in bad shape but the boot is fine. I'll get some pics when i get in this evening if that's something he'd be interested in.

I should mention. I normally wear a XL in gloves. The palm of these fit me perfect, but the fingers are a tad short. It kinda pulls the glove about 1/4" off my hand, if that makes sense.

It's like an XL palm with L fingers...just in case he has a set of prostate ticklers on the end of his paws.

Im guessing these would be very close to the right size, i wear large for most things. This thought in general is awesome, ratfighter has been looking out for me from the beginning, lol.

I wear size 10.5 boots though, i was planning on using my wolverine composite toe boots for riding. Im guessing if those arent adequate rat will point me in the right direction.

Hey Ed, I tried to put up a pic of the boots but it's not letting me for some reason.

They are older boots and the day Tech Road on them. They have a shanked sole and a armor disc under the leather on each side of the ankle, but otherwise just a leather boot. I'd call them 3/4 height boots. Rat may know what they by the name. The toes ain't really got anything going on protection. They're obviously an entry level boot, but available anyone who thinks they will fit.

Just let me know.

Edit. Just had a thought, and Rat may likely know the answer. Since the boot is quite a bit larger than the size should be, I wonder if they're designed to be worn with an inner booty that I don't have?

Did some digging and couldn't find the brand or model of boot, but they should fit snug (as I was telling Ed) due to the fact that any measurable movement can do more harm than good in the event of a crash.

I've always been of the mind my gear should fit like a second skin, if it's uncomfortable I'll try out a new brand and get what I feel works with me and not just something that feels like I'm the Michelin man. Even my race suit, as heavy and huge as it is on the closet hanger, feels like nothing when I'm wearing it on the bike. Same goes with my boots, gloves, and helmet. ;)
