The Necromorphs are the reanimated corpses of the dead, reshaped into horrific new forms by a recombinant infection. These creatures are extremely aggressive, and will attack any uninfected organism on sight. The sole purpose of almost all the Necromorphs is to create more bodies to infect and spread the infection.

We know them better as Streetfighters

Today I collected the first of many corps parts to build my own Necromorph

IT BEGINS.............

It is, but the width of the case at the sprocket should be close to the same. If the VTR motor is centered in it's frame, and so is the bandit, and they run the same rear wheel, there should be no reason to offset.

On the back of the motor there is a pivot point the VTR swing arm attaches to, I intend choping the frame to keep that at the same level. The VTR sump will sit between the cradle. I'm faily sure it will work out as I've put quite a bit of thought into it. I also hahe a few other mods to do to the frame, but I dont want to spoil the thread in the first couple of pages. I can see the bike in my head and I think its gonna work. I cant say for sure coz I've never seen it done, but thats the fun of it.

Even if it was an issue the motor wouldn't need to be offset. You simply use offset sprockets to accomodate any differences in chain run. Offsetting the motor looks shit, it upsets the balance of the machine, not always the physical balance but aesthetically. There is a Steelhart FJ which has had the motr offset to one side, and as a result it is closer to the side rail on one side than the other and it looks wrong.
It will be interesting to see this VTR progress, along with the other two that are being built as well.

I know mate, this thread is being funded with the ÂŁ1,900 I got for the one I built. Can you believe someone would pay 1900 quid for a fuckin 30 year old CX500. I doubled my money on that one fella.

Its just a passing phase mate that I was able to cash in on. The nuvo cafe crowd will all be buying somthing else next year, its just trying to figure out what thats the hard part, lol.

i thought the swingarm attached to the motor of the VTR?

then Again you had me at Bandit1200. i cant wait to see this unfold. been thinking of the same with my Magna750 engine once i get it fixed.

I collected my frame today from motorcycle recycle, luvly init!

I measured the swing arm spindle holes on the engine and frame and they are both 20mm so thats a result :)

next I measured the width between the frame. 220mm, but I can chop the bush each side and get it to open up to 250mm.

The rear of the engine where the swing arm pivots is 170mm

So I have 80mm, 40 each side of the engine and between the frame to get a swing arm into.

Next I used a little yellow paint to indicate where I'm going to chop the frame

I have some 34mm 10swg tube on order from a steel supplier, I just have to find someone to put a couple of bends in it for me.

I 'm going to get rid of the cradle and make the frame into a lattis

This is a bit crude, but you get the idea behind my thinking

Removing the cradle will open up the front for the VTR front cylinder, and removing the cross brace and redundant engine mounts will open up the rear.

I will have to replace the cross brace, but to a point that wont get in the way of the rear cylinder.
