Hey Everyone I Started A GoFundMe Page For Donations For A Prosthetic Leg(Please Read)
So a few months back I caught up with an old high school friend who didn't know about my accident and my injuries. She immediately set up a GoFundMe account for me and started posting on Facebook asking for donations. This made me super nun comfortable and I politely asked Her to take it down, no hard feelings.
Anyways it got me thinking about it because I didn't even know something like that existed. I've spent the last few months thinking about doing it, but I really hated the idea of basically begging people for money especially people I didn't even know. I went and saw my prosthetics team a month back thinking for almost two years that the hospital would be giving me a prosthetic leg. Well as it turns out they completely misinformed me and my leg will be anything but free.
I'll be going back there in November to get fitted for my socket and the rest of the leg soon after and I have no idea how I'm going to be able to afford it. I decided to start my own GoFundMe account and hope for the best while I sell stuff off. I didn't even want to bring this up on this forum because so many members here have already donated money to me for hospital bills and medication and even gave me a really nice wheelchair.
I figured if I was broadcasting this kind of information on Facebook that I should just post up here about it so at least maybe y'all could share it on your Facebook or twitter accounts to spread the word and maybe get me closer to being able to afford a leg. I've had my GoFundMe account active for almost a week now and have only received a single $20 donation from a childhood friend of mines Sister so I felt like I maybe needed to step things up a bit and get more proactive about this.
I don't expect anyone here to give me any more charity. Y'all have already done SO much for me( you know who you are) and I will never be able to truly repay you for your awesomeness. All I'm asking is that you please share the link below on whatever social networking sites you're on or maybe email it to some people; just whatever you're comfortable with because I don't want anyone to feel obligated to participate here. Of course if you feel inclined to send a donation my way, I'm not gonna stop you! Donations can be sent either through GoFundMe with this link:

Which I would prefer be shared with anyone you can share it with or through paypal, which I would much rather you do but please don't share my PayPal ID on Facebook or anything. The PayPal option I figured would be cool just for people here because I trust you all or for people that you trust. My PayPal address is markeads718@live.com.
OK so lastly thank you for taking the time to read this super long post of mine begging for your money like a bum. Thank you for helping me get the word out about this and for the immense amount of love and support y'all have given me through all of this.
